Good Bye Ms Tito...

What a great year we had with Ms T. This year was a fun year with our lovely teacher named Ms T, Ms T is her teacher name.

Ms T has been with us for the past few years. She has been with us for 3 years at Pt England School in Auckland. Ms T is a Creative and fun teacher. Her full name is Janine Tito.

If you do not know Ms T here is a photo of

her at Pt England school. We will miss you always and we will never forget you, you will be still in our hearts.

Remembering the nine planets...

This is how I can remember the nine planets off by heart. All you have to do for this is just to name each planets you want to name it then just put it together.

Just like what I have just done with my one. Then say it over and over again till you made it up.

What does being a year 8 role model mean......

1.What makes a good role model? What makes a roll model to me is when someone is responsible and never give up.

2.Who is someone in year 8 that has been a good role model?
These are some people that I think that has been a good role model and they are? Tamati, Paulitia, Sela and Charm

3.Who would make a good leader next year? The best leaders for next year would have to be Teari because she is always responsible and takes good care and the next person would have to be Cael Beatty because she is friendly and helpful to others And last but not less me .
because I am helpful to others like Cael and we will help others that are in Trouble.


4.What is one big goal that you would achieve next year? One big goal for me is to become a prefect and to help other people if they are in trouble.

1 Million dollar win for xmas...

What will you do if you won 1 million dollar for xmas. What I'll do is I'll buy me stuff and then go on a trip to cook island.

Tags out 2011....

On Friday the 18th of November we were ask to take a three teams to tags out 2011.We went by vans and cars all the way to Mangere.

When we got there we saw lots of other school training ready to go. Well we were walking to put our bags in the shade there was people dougie in front of the stage. The game that our boys and girls played was Mangere Intermediate, Solution, Tamaki and other schools. The placeing we came was 3rd.

I had fun at tags out because I don’t need to do work at school. I really had fun at tags out 2011.

My Extremely holiday!

On the first week of the school holidays which was on a Monday we went to riverside camp.When we got there we were put into our groups.After that we went up stairs to look for our cabin. Our cabin number was 8 and seven people in my cabin to.

On the second week of my school we went to the pools at panmure. It was so cool My brother Frankie said. So me and my family went into the inside pools were it was nice and warm and my brother said that's more better.

My holiday was extremely cool and I had fun at camp and at the pools with my family.

Creative Logical, Solve a problem!

This Morning our class Room 22 did something different to what we usually do for the morning. Which involed logical and creative thinking.

We were put into groups of threes I was with Awhina, Maree. Our problem was, You are out at sea and your boat has started to leak. What will you do? We were given random object a bowl, box, leaf, chair and a hammer.

Our group decided to use the bowl to take out the water out of the boat. Take the nails out of the chair then take it a part and put the flat part of the chair and put it where the leak is. Then rip the box up and lay it down on the flat part of the chair then nail it down to stop the leak of the boat.

After we told everyone our teacher Ms Tito said that our group SUCCEED and I was smiled.

My wonderful week this term!!!

"Wow" what a wonderful week we had this term being so busy for the production and all so getting ready for the school holidays.

For the last week of school I have be so busy learning my moves for the school production. The school production is called Webzidazical Don't get caught. The groups that I am in is fakebook, Percussion and Nurser Rhythm.

This week is our final week of school for this term and it is getting close to being school holidays. What I really liked about this term is having lots of fun learning about the world cup and also learning about each country.

I really can't wail till next term is because we are going to have more fun and more things to do. I really enjoy this week.

Fun Friday!!!

Last week Friday our class room22 had fun on friday. After assmebly we were ment to mark our homework but we had so much fun things in the hall. We done jump jam with room19 and also we had group dance off and also girls and boys dance. When it was group dance we could pick our own team and the people i pick was Awhina, Ngametua,Ngaina and I. And our lovely teacher said that the winning team will have hot chips at lunch time. The winning group was our group and we got to eat hot chips. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN.....

Maths Whizz....

Four half and hour during math we work on a computer device called Maths whizz. Maths Whizz helps us alot to do maths. When ever we come back from morrning tea we hop on to math whizz and work on it to get our brain working for maths. Snice I have been working on Pencil and paper. Here is what it looks like.

Cooking Yum Cha...

Last week Friday it was our student teacher last day with us. On that day we made yum cha dumplings. It was so cool to cook then and also make them. After cooking Ngaina and I went down to the fish in chip shop with our student teacher called Mrs Richard. After it was cook it started to rain. When all the dumplings were cook we caryed it bake to class. WE HAD A FUN DAY ...

Student Teacher...

This term our student teacher has came into our class for six weeks to learn how to be a teacher. Our student teachers favourite hobbie is Knitting.  Her name is Mrs Richards. Tomorrow is her last day with our class (Room Twenty-Two) and she will be going back to university.

Aussie rules...

Yesterday morning our class, Room twenty-two went out to learn how to play Aussie rules. Aussie rules is played like this. To pass the ball all you need is two hands and a ball on it. To kick the ball all you need is two feet and place the ball on top then kick it to your partner. The two name that you would call those skills are back hand ball and to kick is
drop plant.

It was so cool I couldn't believe that I could kick the ball or pass the ball to my partner. Next week will be your next session.

Rugby World Cup 2011...

When ever we drive I just get so frustrated looking at cars with flags on top of them, but I don’t get frustrated if it is a Tongan flag is because I am supporting them to win the rugby world cup. There are even people with flags at the back of their cars and in front. GO TONGA

Facts about Grant Fox...

Grant fox full name is Grant james fox he was born on the 6 june 1962.Grant fox is a former rugby union player for New Zealand. He was bron in New plymouth. He educated University of Auckland and Auckland Grammar school. During his time with the All Blacks 1985 to 1993.He wore the number ten jersey (first five-eighth or fly-half. He is not just a rugby player is he a soccer player too. He scored 654 from 46 All Blacks test.

Black Out day...

Did you know that on Friday the 9th of september it was the first game of the rugby world cup 2011. At our school we had black out day to support the All blacks for there first game against tonga at Eden park.

Presentation of Scotland

This is a presentation of my research I did on the country Scotland. With the Rugby World Cup coming to New Zealand we will have lots of countries represented. We were asked to research one of these 20 countries and we choose to learn more about the country Scotland.

Ngaina and I have been browsing on the Internet looking for funky shoes shelving.We decided to create some shelves for shoes, games, accessories and for our net book bags.

To generate ideas we need to think of what colour we aregoing to use, what shape and what material.What you can use cardboard, wood and plastic.

Prototypes....
In our next step we had to build a prototype so we can get an idea about what we are going to build.What Ngaina and I had came up with was to build shelves for out in the street.

conclusion.....
What I felt about me and Ngaina prototype, was it is alright but i think we can make a better one then what we had made this term.

Yesterday Morning room 22 went out to do rugby League with Sio siua Taukeiho.Sio Siua Taukeiho is from the vodafone junior Worriors squad.He came and taught us some of they skills.

Once we were put into groups we got into our skills.which was running around the cones, lining up so that your team mate can run in front of you.And the last one was playing a game which was when the ball land next to you, you are out.

The first skill we done was to run around the cones the first team finish win.What I liked about it was when it was my turn.When it was my turn I fell over but I got back up and finish the race.

The next skill we done was to make a line from your team and made gapes for them to run through.The first team finish was the winner but it was up to five.The next thing we done was playing a game which was when the ball land next to you, you are out.

So yeah I really enjoy having League sesion with the vodafone junior worriors sguad.I had fun yesterday.

Science Roadshow

Last week Thursday the 9th of June team five walked down to Tamaki College.Once we arrived they we were greeted by to science named Paul and Jane.

Before we sat down they was a whole lots of science stuff at each station.The first station I went to was the feet piano on the floor.This is how the piano works all you do is put your feet on the feet piano and just walk on it.

After exploring the feet piano I went and explored the air ball it was so cool.Next I went and ask how do you make the fire burn through the plastic cover.It was so cool at Tamaki college.

Well at Tamaki college I had a cool day exploring all the things they had shown us, what a great day!

My Taonga Time Reflection.

Every Friday mornings for about an hour and a half, the Year seven and eight classes have Taonga time. Taonga time is a Maori name for treasure.

What I do for Taonga time is Sport with Mrs Va'afusuaga. We play fair games and we never put people down like "you lost and we won" ha ha ha. If we lose we lose and if we win, we win.

What I most like about Taonga time is that we get to know what teachers
have planned for us. My new group is cool because I really like playing sport.
In my group we have fun and lots of laughs because if we lose a game, we have to do some rapping, dancing or singing in our groups.

Next week, we're going to film ourselves doing some rugby drills to share on our new sports blog. I can't wait!

Term one Reflection.

Not pleased:Homework....
Art....

One of the things I was not pleased last term was my homework and Art.In my report I received below expectations in work habits and Academic progress.I was not proud about my homework and Art also was my family.

Improved in:Reading...
Maths...

What I have improved was reading and maths.In reading I got good for work habits and also a good Academic progress.when my family saw my reading and maths there were so happy so was I.

Want to improved:Homework,art,topic and writing.

The things I want to improve is art,homework,topic and writing in my report I got below expectations.When I got my results about my work I was not happy.When I took my report home my family asked me what have I been doing at school so I told them.

Dear heavenly father, please help those that pass away and help those that are homeless living in the park and help them to have more and more food and water. And make there homes come back to them.Please heavenly father make them feel how we feel and we hope that there home will be ready for them to have more and more fun with there family.

Please heavenly father make there homes come ture and the buildings will be done for them and please make them feel happy and give them some food which will come with water. And look out for those that are missing from there family and Please help the school to be build so the student will go back to school and will lean more and more work and will go back home and tell there mum and dad about there day at school.

Thank-you heavenly father for your help and please make there school to be build.I comment to you god is because to help Christchurch build more building so there can go work.And clean the parks where people were seeping in.
